Lincoln Land Community College changes lives, providing a new start on achieving life’s goals. Students tell stories of how a certain class or professor sparked a passion for life-long exploration and learning.
Others tell of how job training propelled them to new heights in their career, and many, many more talk of the money they saved by attending Lincoln Land.
Each year, our graduates go on to great success – some at four-year universities, others in important work in our community. With our average student age now near 30, we know we are impacting a diverse group of individuals who believe in the value of an education and the opportunities knowledge brings.
We are equally proud of our faculty. Recruited from around the world, many Lincoln Land faculty hold doctoral degrees. Those who teach technical and occupational courses are experts with solid professional experience in their fields. Professors, not teaching assistants, teach classes and because our class sizes are small, our campus community feels like a family.
“I believe in . . . providing opportunities for others.”
“I’m living proof of the opportunities Lincoln Land Community College provides. In 1979, I received my Associate’s Degree from LLCC. It established a strong foundation to my education allowing me to go on to complete my degree in dentistry.
“LLCC truly gave me a great start. In fact, my mother attended LLCC and her positive experience encouraged me, my brother and sister to explore LLCC’s great educational offerings which led to degrees.
“I feel a strong sense of obligation to support and repay the institution that prepared me for the career that I enjoy today. I take great pride in knowing that I am helping students now, as well as our future generations.”
